US Senate prepared for cryptocurrency sanctions??? | 미 의회 가상화폐 제재안 마련???
어제밤부터 비트코인 가격이 많이 떨어지고 있습니다. 가격 하락에 대한 이유로써 하드포크부터 다양한 이슈가 존재하지만, 오늘 소개할 내용이 좀더 치명적인 이유가 될 것 같습니다.
미 상원의회에 "자금 세탁, 테러 자금 조달 및 위조 행위 방지 (Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017)"라는 이름의 새로운 법안이 소개되었습니다. 이 법에 따르면 해당 테러 등의 범죄 행위에 대해서 미 정부는 별다른 절차없이 자산을 동결하고 압류할 수 있다고 합니다.
자본주의 국가로써 굉장히 과격한 법안이라서 통과 가능성에 대해서는 회의적이지만, 랜섬웨어 범죄가 급증하고 그에 대한 지불 수단으로써 가상화폐가 이용되기 때문에 국가적인 차원에서 가상화폐에 대한 제재를 가할 수 있다는 불안감이 시장을 강타하는 것 같습니다.
특히 오늘 NSA가 랜섬웨어 워너크라이의 배후로써 북한을 지목하고 나섬에 따라 우리나라 역시 미국과 마찬가지로 가상화폐에 대한 제재를 가할지 귀추가 주목됩니다.

A new bill called "Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017" has been introduced to the US Senate. According to the law, the US government can freeze assets and seize them for crimes such as terrorism.
It is skeptical about the possibility of passage because it is a very radical bastion as a capitalist state. However, since cryptocurrency is being used as a means of payment for the Ransomware crime, I am very worried that additional sanctions will be imposed on cryptocurrency on the national level.
In particular, today, the NSA in South Korea has named North Korea as the backbone of Warner Cry. It is also worth noting that South Korea, like the United States, will impose sanctions on cryptocurrency.
