Warning! Genesis Mining scam alert!

I thought I would share our experience with Genesis Mining.

Genesis Mining is the largest cloud mining company right now that offers cloud mining contracts on various cryptocurrencies for what seems like very unreasonable fees.

The contract term is 24 months, for which you pay a predetermined fee upfront and in return get hash power. The contract specifically states that "EITHER" party can terminate contact and the refund would be calculated on the unused months of mining left on your contact. So for example if 3 months have lapsed, they would refund the 21 unused months.

However, if you do decide to terminate your contract due to good reasons as we have, Genesis Mining just tells you to get lost. They told us that they do not provide for refunds whatsoever even though they state in their contact that they in fact DO provide refunds. They do not honor their contract with you and eventually stop replying altogether.

Furthermore, I can say that cloud mining is not profitable as it seems. In fact it is not profitable at all. The hash rate becomes ineffective very quickly as difficulty to mine increases exponentially. You will be much better off just purchasing coins on the exchange.

It is very unfortunate that we live in a world full of lies and deceit and so many people have lost their conscience. I sincerely hope that whoever reads this post doesn't get scammed like we did. I don't have a hidden agenda, I'm just telling the truth and what really happened. I wish everyone luck and remember to stay away from companies like Genesis Mining.
