Tele-lens as macro lens, II 📷 🌼
I had a chance few more days to play with "Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 300mm f/4 IS Pro, + M.ZUIKO DIGITAL MC-14 1.4x Teleconverter"
Besides it's super impressive optical stabilization, it so many times impressed me how versatile it can be even for close-up shooting.
See my first post on this a few days ago.
During my recent walk I got quite an interesting subject - a dandelion shallow on a "invisible", super thin spider thread.
It was moving all the time, even from the slightest, hardly noticeable wind. And I have no tripod with me, so got to do it all from handheld.
Here is some pictures I made from about two meters distance. Sure it could be impossible without OLYMPUS's 5-axis sensor stabilization + 2-axis in-lens optical stabilization.
Is this not impressive, with a 840 mm telephoto-GUN , from handheld?
Another interesting thing discovered was how narrow is the "in focus" area. The car in this picture was maybe only 1-1.5 meter away from the front standing Thuja tree:
My distance from the tree - about 40-50 meters.

Final notes:
- All your RESTEEM's always are much appreciated here, and always noticed. ;)
- I never upvote my blog comments which been already self-upvoted . No matter how good they are. 📛
Įdomus fotožaisliukas pakabintas ant nematomo siūlo. :) Iš šalies turėjo atrodyti, kad fotografuoji nieką. Arba tą autobomilį, kur matosi paskutinėj foto su tuja. :)
It is always great to try out new stuff, especially when this is the result :) You did a very good job. When I show the picture in the listing I thought you had captured an airborne dandelion seed.
It is a great image. Somehow I can see this being used as inspiration for a poem about freedom but also not being free. The seed can move freely but only where the wind will take it. Unfortunately I am not a poet.
Thanks for sharing.
Ohhh, I am far from poetry too. Thanks for a nice comment @lijmmai
