Ibadan Steemit Meetup
So yesterday, the much anticipated steemit meetup, Ibadan was executed and truth be told the organisers deserve to be comended for the planning and the outcome.
I had always wanted to be a part of such an event, hence the feeling of joy I felt the first time @fisteganos told me there was going to be one. I squeezed it into my already tight schedule and started anticipating eagerly. On friday @fisteganos still texted me to remind me of the event and I assured him I'll make it.
Few hours to the event however, it was legit looking like I would not be able to attend. I was coming from Lagos and the traffic was crazy, had to go through a bush path and still encountered traffic in there. In the end though I made it for the event, although a bit late, nonetheless knowledge was imparted.
The event was anchored by @sushie and @mediahousent y'all did a good job👌
I missed the talk by @samstickkz on Blockchain and cryptocurrency, based on logistics...
I however came in to meet @tojukaka imparting knowledge regarding steemit and relatable topics.
I think after that this amazing lady, @gee1 came on to talk about Plagues affecting newbies... I really needed to hear some the things the lady said, orientation was reshaped. I heard you're a doctor... You give off a really smart vibe.
Then @ejemai came on to talk about @stach
We told him to take off his shades but the baba refused😏. @ejemai talked about the operation of the Steem Acceleration Hub (@stach) and you could see passion surging through him as he spoke.
I'm pretty sure I saw @ehiboss sitting with @mimy somewhere close to where I was 😏.
I also saw @optimistdehinde making a video which I'm pretty sure is going on dtube.
We took pictures too...
L-R @trillex, me, @ericdyce, @admab and @fisteganos
Kudos to the organizers
You make sense🙌
Thanks for coming! Even with all the travels and tight schedule
