Dear friends!!!

I started exploring new materials!

"Resin Abstract N.1" | Cristina Castañeda | Resin and watercolor on cardboard | 14 cm x 20 cm | 2018

This painting belongs to a series of small paintings on cardboard.
My principal interest with these artworks is to explore the resin material, and its combination with watercolors, pigments and acrylics.
I found very interesting the consistency and the way each material is merged one to another.

The result is a beauty cell of color contained and trapped within a transparent envelop.
