Death is a price we all have to pay, but it is not the greatest loss in life, the greatest loss is what dies inside us while we are alive....

Nobody who lives a good life is prepared to die at any time. Some do crave for death once life had bashed them so hard, but we should all consider this: what if that price we all have to pay comes at any moment in our life when we least expected it?

Just like my dear mum passed awayin her sleep in the middle of the night without been sick and wothout exit notice, another soul had been terminated untimely without warning!

CHEICK TIOTE (1986-2017)

Here is a 30 years old professional soccer player who passed away just yesterday 5th of June 2017. The Ivorian football star collapsed during a training session with his club; Beijing Enterprise, China.

Playing just 17 times since joining the club before his demise, compared to his 150 appearance for Newcastle United Football Club of England. Also played for FC Twente; a
Netherland professional club 86 times before moving to England in 2010.

As a young lad, he started his professional football career with Anderlecht, a Belgian based professional football club which sold him to the Dutch Club FC Twente later on. For what it's worth, Tiote lived a professional football life before passing away yesterday.

Our thoughts and profound condolences goes out to his family, his friends, Cote de' voir as a nation and the entire footballing World. RIP the beast, your legacy lives on!

PATRICK EKENG (March 1990-May 2016)

This 26 years old Cameroonian Midfielder died after collapsing on the field in a live match featuring Dinamo Bucharest vs Victorial. He collapsed on the field of play in the 69th minute and later died at the hospital.

GREGORY MERTENS (February 1991-April 2015)

After passing all medical tests mandated by UEFA, the 24 years old Belgian defender died 3 days later after collapsing in a team B match between K.R.C Genk and his team Lokeren.

JUNIOR MALANDA (August 1994-January 2015

He died from a car crash on his way to meet up with his Wolfsburg German team mate who traveled to South Africa for a camp training, he was just 20 years.

ANDRES ESCOBAR (March 1967- July 1994)

Escobar was murdered after his own goal caused his country to lose against the US team at the USA 1994 FIFA world Cup. His funeral was attended by 120,000 fans as he was a Gem to the country of Colombia.
