To my first love
It's over five years now mom,
The Scars aint fading,
Pains linger on,
Your birthday without you here hurts,
More than a bullet to the leg.
These worries are heavy,
And they rest upon my shoulders,
My body can't take it no more,
I'm on the verge of giving up.
Nobody deserves to lack a mothers love,
The most cruel thing that could happen to a man,
Is not giving his mom a grandchild before she left.
Gone into the land of the saint,
Where nothing could bring her back.
Your memories lives on,
The legacy you have us can't be soiled.
It's been a lonely world without you in it,
The love of a mother,
Is the strongest protection for any man, woman, child.
Happy posthumous birthday to you my first love,
Hopefully love heals those deep scars.
