A Menace called Rape (Infographics)

Rape is another cankerworm eating humanity, just like greed, corruption, bloodshed, its eating away good and innocent lives. Some rape victim chose to die instead of living with that stigma, its crazier to know that both genders are now victims of rape.

The chart above indicates the alarming number of rape cases, comparing the number of rapist roaming to reported cases and those convicted and tried to the ratio of prosecuted and jailed. In these chart, just a tiny fraction are innocent of this crime compared to the monumental number of rapist across the globe.

Consent or not, its has a psychological impact on the lives of the victims, to the extent of suicide and turning some to junkies. The impact of this menace is inimical to the society and this somewhat increase crime rates. Victims could be disoriented and often result to serial killing r breeding more rapists. It has gotten worse as age isn't a barrier anymore as it has been reported of variance in age of victims.

Maybe this is one of the punishment for the general crime of humanity, natural disaster is another that can not be bargain with. If we humans could treat each other this way, its sad how we are ever going to stop treating Nature badly with our cruel way of life.
