The Perfect Marriage
She walked out of the car looking devastated and angry, she frowned as she stepped out of the car which her husband drove, and walked straight into her room.
Her kids greeted and she responded slightly, her husband walked in just after her and he had an unusual frown on his face too, the kids knew something was wrong but they could not say what the problem was.
Their first child who is the calm and very observant one in the family knew that something was definitely wrong, she was the closest to both parents and she could tell whenever something was going wrong with them.
She walked straight into the mother's room and found her sitting right at the edge of the bed with head bent in deep thought. She moved closer to the bed and asked her mother if there was any problem with her?
No problem her mum replied, she looked closely at her mum and said you and I know that you cannot lie to me and I can tell when something is not going on well.
Alright, I will tell you but I don't know if your little mind can accept the things I want to tell you.
Mum, I have told you I am no longer a baby and if at this stage you still cannot trust me with words, when will you begin to trust me?
Her Mum adjusted on her sit and said, my darling, I know how much you love your dad and how much you always want to marry a man like him, I know how often you wish to have a relationship like that of your father and I, but I am sorry to say this to you my darling, your dad and I are getting a divorce.
She placed her hands to cover her ears, she almost gave out a loud scream, she wished she was alone so she could scream without anyone asking her what the problem was.
She wanted to still know the reason however, she had told any man that she comes across that the only type of man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with was a man like her dad, she had tried all within her power to follow the footsteps of her mother, she wanted to be like her mum at all cost, she thought her parents marriage were perfect what could the problem be, she could not answer the question.
She looked up at her Mum and she asked with a rather calm voice, but Mum why?
Find out the reason for the parent's decision in my next post.
