The 'Nice' Customers.

Today I am going to tell you what you have to know about nice customers, as a business owner or sales person, you will agree with me that there are various types of customers there are customers who will complain at every given opportunity, some will nag and curse but you as well know about some customers who seem to be very nice and approachable, they never complain irrespective of the type of service they get.

So in today’s post we are going to major on who nice customers are and what they do to your business, grab a chair and ride along with me as I give you the detailed information about those called ‘’nice customer’’.

There is a person who goes into a restaurant and watch the waiters and waitress gossip not considering the fact that there is a customer who needs to be attended to, on some occasions other customers who just walked in will receive the waiter’s attention first and this particular customer just looks on with calmness.
There is another person who walks into a store and he wants to scan through the available options of different products before deciding on the one he should go for, the sales person then get angry with the customer for not been specific about what he wants to purchase and how the customer is annoying, still this calm customer does not think it is proper to answer the sales person rudely as he tries to apologize.

A good looking young man stopped at a gas station the other day, and he was delayed for some minutes before the fuel attendant finally attended to him, to make matters worse, this fuel attendant spilled oil on his vehicle and he tried to clean it off with a messy and dirty rag thereby making the car look much more annoying, this young man only nodded his head, got into his car and drove off.

The individuals described above, could be regarded as the nice customers, they are the ones who seem to perfectly understand everything at all time, they are the ones who do not nag, they do not complain, they do not create scenes, they act very matured but there is one other thing you need to know about them and that is the fact that, ‘’they never come back’’.
One thing about these set of customers is that, there is no amount of advertisement or branding that you do that will bring them back.
You see these set of nice customers who never complain, are the ones who will tell other eight to ten people about how poor your service is, and five out of those eight to ten people will never come to you to have a personal experience as they will gladly go somewhere else.

Those customers who seem to complain and nag about your services, are the ones who keep coming back to get something from you and funny enough you might not like them, but it only takes you to act wrongly to one nice customer and be sure never to see them or any of their friends and associate again, as a matter of fact, these nice customers are the ones who ruin your business.

I have witnessed cases there staffs of a particular business just neglect me and keep me waiting because they do are doing one thing or the other that doesn't have a positive impact on the business. I do not complain sometimes, what i just do is take my leave never to return there.

What you describe is a great reality, I do not own a business, only Pastor of a Church and I have learned to identify these types of people, I try to have my best smile and give my best treatment to all so that those who visit us return again .

Yes oo, it is very important to look your best at all tines as a pastor and even sound interesting to everyone including those you do not like.

Among my people there is an old phrase: "May God take care of me from the meek water, that from the wild water I will take care of myself" It means that the people who are most savage are the easiest to solve, because they will go straight ahead and will not have any something hidden with which to attack, but people who are calm when enraged are very dangerous and can destroy you without a doubt.

Customers who feel very badly attended may simply not come back, that is bad, but they can do something worse, which is to make known their negative experience with their acquaintances, their relatives, their friends and the rest of the world thanks to social networks , that stain in the image of a business is always harmful.

Yes oo you are absolutely correct, one should never offend them, I repeat NEVER.

It is good to have good workers and staffs who understands customer service. A good staff is a happy customer. I love this topic.

Which is one of the reasons why employers should also take out time to educate their workers rather than just employ them.

I'm one of those people who doesn't complain unless I get the wrong change. I've had the opportunity to come and live in the capital of my country, which as in every capital, life is a continual turmoil. What I have noticed in most establishments is that the service is bad, not to say terrible and I suppose it must have something to do with the salary the workers get and to a great extent, the little experience they have in the area. However, I guess these businesses are still going strong because they have no competition and that's all there is to it, and for that reason, they don't go bankrupt.

A friend always told me never to get mad at a nurse or a waiter or waitress. Because of the consequences it could have. I don't remember which other kind of worker we shouldn't bother.

I guess we haven't evolved enough yet to give a responsible character to the client.

I can bet that the reason why the business is still standing is because they have no competitor as you have mentioned, and i feel salary should never be a reason why a staff should be rude, if you are not happy with it, then just quit the job.

You're right. The sad part is that if the employee complains about the salary, they simply change them because there are many others who want any employment opportunity. Making this a vicious circle

You say that customers who complain a lot are the ones who always come back?

I have never noticed it like this. I will have to pay more attention from now on.
