DETECTING THE WILES OF THE DEVIL

2 Timothy 3:16-17 "The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and make realize what is wrong in our lives; it's straighten us out and helps us do what is right".

17 " It's God's way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone".

Dictionary definition Detecting is the act of detection and detection is the act of detecting or sensing something that was hidden or disgusted. To simplify the topic, it's the sensing the tricks of the devil.

Wile are trick or manipulations design to deceive someone. Wiles are the devil are those clever schemes used by the devil to ensnare us through temptation, threat or intimidation.

The wiles of the devil are trickish, they appear smart and logical they can appeal to every sense of reasoning and judgement. They are not really opposite of what God's words says but they are a fragment, a piece, a fraction, a misquote and ultimately a lie of what God actually said or is saying.

What can help us gain know plans of the devil is knowledge when we know, then we can act what if we don't know, then we can act what if we don't know, then we will exploit, taken advantage of by the devil.

The devil is moving to and fro looking for who to devour. The devour is not to bite or swallow you. The devil aim is to sell his cheap lies, his plans and his thoughts. Once you fall for it at anytime, then you have been devour.

Have you ever wondered what he told the one third of angels that God drove down the earth because of their rebellion?

The devil told them a lie. He gave them hope just as God promised us a future and hope. The hope he presented to them was to raise his throne above God and be like the most high. For we are not ignorant of the device of the devil.

In the case study in Genesis 3, devil and Eve in the garden of Eden. He made the woman to believe that God's instructions was too restrictive and difficult to obey.

The devil will always come to rephrase God's instructions, he always want to influence our thoughts. The Bible says resist the devil and he will flee.

Another tools is ignorance of the truth. You shall know the truth, and it's the truth that will make you free. What if you don't know the truth? You will be in perpetual bondage.

If you don't know you have victory over sin, you will be slaves to your flesh and it ends in death. If you don't know you are wonderfully and fearfully made by God. You will fail for the lies that you are not enough.

He's an accusser, he will accused you without pointing you to repentance. If you don't know him as the accusser, you will believe whatever he tells you. The devil works with the flesh to do what you want. The more spiritual you are, the more you detect the wiles of the devil.

The Bible calls him accusser of the brethren why not accusser of the unbelievers because he knows that they have anything to lose to protect. But we have salvation of our soul to work out with fear and trembling and so we can't afford to be unguarded.

The devil challenge our identity during the baptism of Jesus, the heavens open and the voice spoke saying "this is my beloved son in whom am well pleased ".
