The Scared Calabash In The Little Village Of Ibika (Part 6)
The following day, Abaga expected something unusual to happen to him but he remained his old self.
He carried out his duties as usual, but the fact that he had seen the strange calabash and the men who knew his secrets created a big fear in him that he was going to die.
He began to think about his families, his life ambitions and of course his aged father, sometimes after a long thought he will blame himself for taking such risk.
Abaga was expecting death before the seventh day. On the seventh day, he was still hale and hearty. Three months later, Abaga was still alive, he regained his confidence and he knew now that the calabash does not have the power to claim a person's life at all.
One day Abaga and his friend called Ikumagba were playing Ayo game and Abaga said, there is no secret under the heaven. Later he told his friend that he had seen the scared calabash some months and nothing had happened to him.
