The Prayers of A Mother
I don't really know about other cultures, but I am sure of the fact that a mother's blessing is one that is greatly desired in this side of the world (Nigeria), it is believed in most culture that if a mother should place a curse on a child then there is a great probability that the child might never get to succeed ever again but if the mother blesses the Child on the other hand, the child is bound to succeed and achieve greatness.
As a Nigerian who has been brought up with that mentality, I believe so much in the prayer of a mother and I do believe that a mother's prayer or blessing have the capacity to turn things around and turn impossibilities into possibility.
A mother's prayer could make things go well for a person, a mother's prayer gives us guidance and basic directions.
A mother's prayer gives us hope and saves our situation.
A mother's prayer has the ability to heal and restore.

Schedules and high cost of living has made it really difficult for most mothers to spend time with their kids especially single mothers, this makes prayers an effective instrument in a child's life. Spending quality time in the place of prayer over your child is a very great investment.
The attitude of a child however, determines how much the mother will devote into blessing your child. As a child, instead of making your mother spend time in the place of prayer to complain about your attitude, why don't you make her spend time to bless you instead.
