Hello steemians!
Hope we all doing great?

As part of the activities of the members of the @edusteem project I bring to you a video clip of our church meet-up which held at st-mary’s Catholic Church Abuja karu to the members of catholic youth organization of Nigeria abbreviated as CYON.

In-line with the vision and mission of @edusteem which is provision and assistance of school in the rural areas as well as creating awareness of the existence of the steem block chain in form of organizing meet-ups via either church invasion or any other form of meet-up so we therefore look for every opportunity to sensitize and sanitize the Nigeria populace about the wonderfulness and awesomeness of the steemit to it users.

After a successful church invasion with the members of the national association of catholic graduates (NACG) in st-marys Catholic Church it became imperatives to bring down the members of the @edusteem to come repeat the same thing to the members of CYON in the same parish.

For long time the Nigeria populace most especially the youth have been slaves to other social media the likes of facebook, instagram, twitter, youtube and snapchat.
They practically spend hours online wasting their time, effort, energy and resources creating content online on this various social medias thereby driving traffic to the sites and instead of getting rewards for their content the website in-turn get rewarded for their hard work, a perfect example of what Nigerians call “monkey the work bamboo the chop”.

With this in mind it is necessary to embark on an awareness war to spread the news of steemit to the Nigerian populace most especially now that the saga of social media ban is blazing hot and creating turbulence in the crypto sphere.
They all need to be aware that there is a platform which is ready and will reward you for creating and curating content on the website therefore bringing an end to the monopoly and selfishness of the other entire social Media’s.

NOW BACKTO @edusteem VISIT

It was very easy bringing down the members of the team down to st-mary’s to perform their duties once more because to them they see steemit evangelization as part of their steem responsibly and contribution to the steem block chain. BIG UPS TO THE TEAM MEMBERS
The members of the @edusteem project arrived the church premises immediately after the 10am Mass.
Note cyon usual hold her meeting every third Sunday of the month and immediately after the 10am MASS.
The team immediately swings into action by hanging the @edusteem banner and then getting set for their presentation.
As soon as it was time for our presentation the members took to the podium to enlighten and introduce steemit to the people.

@eugenecr7 presentation

The first talk was presented by @eugenecr7 the team leader who as usual began by introducing steemit and explains the concept behind steemit. He also gave reasons and at the same time urges all the members to join steemit.

@sunny4glow in action

@sunny4glow try to start the difference between steemit and other social media as a platform that reward you for creating content while on other social media they get rewarded for your content.

@oliverwilliams briefly talked about other open source project and told the people that on steemit you can blog about anything and everything e.g video, audio, text and audiovisual.

The meet-up was successful and the purpose was achieved and lots of members indicated interest and registered that day.
I want to in a special way thank all the people who have believed in the @edusteem vision and mission and those who supported the project in one way or the other by virtual of their comment, upvote and resteem.

my most special thanks to @maryfavour for been a cofounder and contributor to the success of any of her project.
And also to the members of @edusteem this is just the beginning of expoit on the steem blockchain.
