Do you like snails?
The first time I tasted snails I did not like it at all. They were like rubber and had a strange taste. Subsequently, I decided to order them again in another institution. These snails (on the photo) were baked with Dor Blue cheese and were fantastic to taste.
It all depends on how to cook them.

Agree on the cooking part. You must try snail soup - unfortunately it's a regional dish, Schwarzwald (Black Forest), Germany, so you can't find it anywhere else. We have a recipe we got from a chef at one of our favourite restaurants there, and I make it occasionally. Following.

Looks like a mushroom cream soup, you can serve it to folks who otherwise wouldn't touch snails and when they like it tell them the truth! Of course you need to know them very well before you try this on them.
