Quesillo with cake // Quesitorta !!!

Happy afternoon steemianos, today I bring you something really delicious for all those who love desserts ... A sweet that combines the quesillo with a traditional sponge cake ...

A dessert called quesitorta ...

We prepare this dessert for part, first we make a traditional cake.

Ingredients for sponge cake:

4 egg whites until stiff.
1 cup of white sugar
4 tablespoons butter without salt.
1 cup of liquid milk
Pinch of baking powder.
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract.
2 cups of wheat flour.

Preparation:

Place in a bold butter and sugar, beat with a blender until they mix well and the sugar has completely dissolved. Let it be like a cream.
We add the egg yellows one by one while continuing to beat. We incorporate the baking powder and the vanilla essence, we keep mixing. We lower the speed of the blender and we alternate, the egg whites, the flour and the milk, little by little, we move with enveloping movements until the ingredients are united. After that procedure, we greased and flour a round mold for cakes pour in the mixture and bake at high heat for about 40 minutes, until it is cooked. We verify its cooking by introducing a toothpick in the middle of the cake, if it comes out clean and dry, we take it out of the oven. Unmold and reserve.

Then we prepare our quesillo, also in a traditional way.

In the cheese shop we make a caramel with 1 cup of sugar and half a cup of water. We put it to the fire without moving it, when it is getting thick and brownish color we go down from the fire and move the container so that the candy bathes all the spaces of the cheese cellar.

Ingredients for the quesillo:

1 can of condensed milk.
6 whole eggs
1 can of liquid milk
vanilla.
1copita of liquor, the one of your preference.

Preparation:

We place all the ingredients in the glass of the blender and liquefy at high speed, until all the ingredients are well joined. We pour that mixture in the cheese shop, cover and take the fire to a bain marie for about 45 minutes.
After that time we went down from the fire and waited for it to cool and then put the cheese in the fridge and wait for it to harden.

When our sponge cake is completely cold as well as the quesillo, we unmold the quesillo on the sponge cake, so that the caramel sauce impregnates and bathes the sponge cake ... and our quesitorta is ready. !!
