Converting grace!
“I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing”

Grace is God's blessing to man. It is the intervention of the divine in the affairs of humanity. It is the remedy for all of human tragedies. It is the divine elevator that elevates us from the realm of limited access in the flesh to the realms of boundless experiences in a God whose depths are unfathomable. It is grace that gives us the blessed assurance that waiting on God is not basically on wether we need something from God or not but it positions us to know and understand the necessity of being with God. There are 2 phases of the working of God's grace in our lives. Firstly, it is a converting grace. The scripture makes it clear: Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you.(speaks of christ escatologically; for christ is the sum of all things;(see 1peter 1:10). The grace of God has appeared unto all men.(see Titus 2:11).And now, make request for the grace of God so that he may have mercy on us: this has been your doing: will he give his approval to any of you? says the Lord of armies.(see malachi 1:9). Wherefore let us lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save our souls.(see james 1:21). Then, will you receive this grace as he has said; he giveth [This] grace to the humble. ( see james 4:6b). And of his fullness have all( who made request) received, and grace for grace.(see john 1:16). We can then say like the apostle paul; I m what I am by the grace of God.( see 1 corithians 15:10). There is a shower of this grace, and everyone who is found on the field shall be drenched with it. There has to be this inner working of grace in our lives so we can live to the fullest of our divine privileges in christ. Let us therefore Seek those things which are above where christ lives. Let this word you have received today dwell in you richly. I pray the lord grant us understanding on todays reflection. Amen
PRAYER
Dear God, I thank you for the power of your word to me today. I position myself today dear God, just have you have given me the privilege to come boldly unto the throne of grace, that i may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. I set myself loosed to have your grace in its fullness at work within me, converting that which needs to be converted so I can live in the full expression of your glory and praise. Thank you dear God. Amen!
ACTION PLAN
Meditatively reflect on this truth brought to you today. Have you encountered this converting grace? Have you received it with meekness? Have you come to terms with the fact that you need this converting grace; that which turns the sinner to a saint, and also enables the believer live the full expressions of the God-life? Seek this grace in every area of your life you need a conversion. Study more on this subject and pray in the spirit..Engage the instructions of God to you today and beyond.
