Therefore, the unprecedented aggravation and the newest stage of such a phenomenon as sexual harassment is by no means an exception. There are more questions than answers, but why do not we talk about it?
First question: who benefits? First of all comes the thought that someone decided to tear down Weinstein's empire, whether they are spiteful competitors, avengers or unprincipled raiders from the cinema art. Why not? There are performers of leading roles, whose personal goals, flavored with the struggle for universal equality and democracy, coincide with the general hidden genius idea - the destruction or absorption of the company's competitor.
Could this simply be a new stage in the fight for feminism? It is not excluded and such. Goals are the same. Why would massively outgoing aging actresses, who 30 years ago had touched their knees, not to remind themselves of themselves, under noble slogans. Any PR is a PR. Worse than oblivion. Yes, and the actors who are still relatively young, but whose career does not go the way they imagined it, why not also remind yourself, even if it's a question of non-traditional relations (now it's fashionable!)
But the stick has two ends. And we have the right to ask: if you are so right, what have you been silent for 30 years? Ah! For their careers they were afraid! That's right! With your amused smiles and sweet speeches, you expressed gratitude to your abusers, standing on the red carpet when getting an Oscar, which you have prepared these rapists. No, it's not them? Is it just your talent and hard work? Really? And what do you say to those actors and actresses who have a lot more talent than you, but they remained unknown and only because they did not succumb to flirting their potential producers. Are you not in the least ashamed of them? Or are they fuckers for you?
understand that there are different degrees of sexual harassment, there are indeed cases that actually caused mental trauma to these future stars. But it was necessary to complain already then! Or go and slam the door! Or call the journalists and then tell everything! Ask one - do not be hypocritical now!
One more question: why are men accused of harassment immediately recognized in everything? Are they so honest? After all, to prove what was decades ago will not be easy! Most likely, they are afraid of investigations and the flow of lawsuits, because surely their harassment was not a single instance.
Well, God bless them all! I wonder what will happen next? Already, many young secretaries in the US are being fired, due to the fact that men initially feel guilty. Where their flawless multi-year career can put an end to one compliment. Is it worth the risk? And many commercial transactions, which are concluded one-on-one, are now trying to conduct with open doors. Little did it come to the other side of the contract?
All this resembles a kind of psychosis. Although, I think, to representatives of same-sex love, this situation is rather good.

But do you like this situation for the women themselves? I think everything is purely individual.
