Lunar Eclipse from Lisbon
Last night after dinner I went to Parque Eduardo VII de Inglaterra (Edward the VII Park) in Lisbon with a friend from Brazil whom I haven’t seen for 13 years. My friend had professional photographic equipment and these were the photos of the eclipse he managed to capture (I’m publishing them on my blog with his permission):
Did you watch the lunar eclipse last night? And, if yes, where from?
I stayed up for it the other night and got nothing. Just clouds and rain on me lol. What a wonderful sight.
At least it counts as an eclipse… of some kind…

I did not get to watch it from my area and kinda wish i did. These are rare events that occur once in a long time and should not be missed
I am glad that you managed to catch a glimpse of the eclipse. A friend and I thought we could see it at a certain time at a certain place, but when we went there, there was nothing. Either we were at the wrong place or at the wrong time, or at the wrong place at the wrong time. Oh well, never mind. :-)
On a separate note, I noticed that your votes were missing from my posts yesterday. Not only your votes,, but myfeedyourminnows vote and sbi votes were also missing. I had some problem with my account some time this week, and I wonder if that caused the messed up. Are you able to check why the votes didn't come through and why. I am still waiting for sbi's to reply.

Hi Oleg. I see that your vote and sbi's vote are back for my post today. So, maybe, there was a hiccup somewhere yesterday. So, don't worry about it now.
