Edmonton Parade
I just came from the downtown where I attended parade which is the start of The K-days in Edmonton.
It's a traditional festival in Edmonton and parade was the first time experience for me.
The parade is a mix of tradition, sports, everyday life, politics, commercials.
Not my flow, but people like it very much and the streets downtown were full of happy people.
After morning rain shower the weather was perfect.
Here are some shots from the opening parade for today's post. I'm kind of late and we heading out for lunch.
I'll try to present you some more when I'll find some extra time.
I bought tickets for the event in presale and you better stay tuned in the next days.

We also have parades here in Penticton, every year, and we always like to watch them go by.

Awesome captured from this event, atmosphere adde beautiful look to those shots, parade was my things when I was kid but later Its gone off my head.. but part of it I can't stand to miss is "culture" that is always my favorite to witness many... Thx for share your nice photos @oldtimer

It is fun to watch parades, those horses looks majestic and the Irish band looks fun with their "Dresses"
