Well of all the differant onions the red ones have the higher antioxidants,they have higher flavonoids than white onions and yellow onions but i like yellow onions the best as far as taste,you see allicin in the onions helps to fight cancer plus also helps with diabetes.Onions also help with joint pains,also helps with rheumatoid arthritis quercetin in the onions helps with inflammation,onions also have antibacterial properties,bottom line here is that onions are very good for the body and should be in everybodys diet for great health.
