1984 VF750 Sabre
I have been working on this one for a while. Carb clean, some wiring issues, new stator installed. It was kind of a favour repair. Owner is just paying for parts. He's been without work for quite a while and finally found a job but low on capital. I know he is good for it and will clear up when he can.
Hard to believe some of these old gems are almost 40 years old already.
It has a small coolant leak yet but would require fairly large scale disassembly to repair. So he can decide what wants to do about that at a later date.
Shot of whats still in the shop even though I haven't accepted any new work in like 4 months... I love working for myself but unfortunately I can't pay all the bills alone with a family my size. So back the oil patch I went for now.
Peace.
I saw that V4 emblem and it instantly took me back to my old motorcycle that I got out of salvage status a few years back. It was a 1986 Honda Interceptor VFR 700. That bike was hard as hell to find plastics for so i could get it out of salvage status. Really sweet riding bike though. Ironicly the first time i ever drove it after getting it legal the rectifier went out and i pulled up to a stop sign and the damn thing died and would not restart.
