Awesome pics and a nice hashtag! I will sure participate in a near future, once I figure out how to use steemit. It's my second day here, so plenty to learn. Love taking photographs, especially old school film with vintage cameras. Good luck
Welcome and I followed back. Don't be afraid to ask me or other Steemers any questions. I was new not long ago!
Excellent black and white photographs.
Both the gutter and the cogs sing to me! :)
I just saw in another post that #monochromemonday originated here. I promptly edited my post from today to reflect that. I am now following you and looking forward to seeing more. Upvoted & resteemed too!
Followed you back as well.
Just wondering... what's photo 3?
Oh its a vintage gear drill!
Great!!!! Not because it's a gear drill... but because I had to look it up in google translate and learned something new 😂 (English is not my native language)
But this doesn't mean the picture is not great, on the contrary 👍
I agree, B&W does have a quality all it's own. So glad the challenge is in place, thanks so much for that. Is that an old hand-crank wall drill in the picture?
Indeed it is. I can even tell you who it belonged to...Erie Sauder
If you ever saw Sauder furnature at Walmart, Home Depot or Amazon, that shop is where it all started.
Here is all about it https://saudervillage.org/about/our-founder
You are truly a man of much knowledge's. Amazed at all these older 'things' and places you know about. I actually have one of those gear-drills, still works too. Want to put it on the garage wall someday. Lot's of those somedays' abound in my life. Guess I'm never bored...
Its good to have a lot of projects waiting for us to get a round to it...Its when you run out of things to do, that is when boredom starts. I love learning, so I'm never bored, plus now with my new addiction: Steemit...
love the texture of the wood , voted and resteemed
Much obliged. :)
I love monochrome Monday, so thank you for that... I Iook forward to it every week. 😀 I shall resteem later.
