I have brought over a few new people that will find this helpful as well as some others @dswigle!
Basically just enclose the words you want to be the link in brackets then the url in parenthesis. Please not no space between the end bracket and start parenthesis.

Thank you so much! Now that I know how to do it, does this mean you won't do mine anymore?
I appreciate you showing me how to do it and it really gives my post a cleaner, more polished look. So thank you for that and all the other little things you are teaching me.
More appreciated than you will ever know! Tip! Worthy! Upped and I want to resteem this later today.
Edited: Came back to steem
Oh I will always be happy to do yours! I love trying to help in any way I can :)
You are more appreciated than you will ever know as well... Always.
@dswigle can you believe @old-guy-photos did not post this yesterday when he did not know I needed it? I had to figure it out on my own and everything. lol :P
I actually had the basics down, I just wasn't sure what it exactly was in markdown. :D
Im always a day late and a dollar shy!
I should be nicer to you @old-guy-photos. :P
Oh, girl! I sent him the link and a few tears. Now I have it down pat. Thanks to him. We better
hang onkeep him around.Hi, Deb!
Have it down pat till next Friday LOL!
I better get to upping my favorite gals comments here :)
I agree, we need to keep him around @dswigle. :D
That's brilliant! I wonder how people will feel if we start linking directly to offsite commercial pages, such as a Fine Art America page for a photo? What if we could actually link to goods and services internally and sell for steem? Does this exist already (I'm so new... ) resteemed & upvoted
That shouldn't be a problem as long as both of the parties have access to Steem, or other crypto currencies. Using Blocktrades or Shapeshift one can turn basically any crypto into STEEM or SBD. Granted Shapeshift hasn't been very workable with Steem for a long time as it (steem/sbd) has been "temporarily unavailable" since the first half of 2017 I guess. But Blocktrades works.
(I'm not familiar with Fine Art America itself, but I wouldn't mind if someone like them took Steem as one of their payment options. Just like Overstock did with Bitcoin.)
So basically I wouldn't see a problem with trading art using Steem. Someone should introduce some larger art communities to Steem first so we'd get the first major player in, then I guess we'd possibly have a good chance of getting it recognized as a payment method also for the other artists and art afficionados in the world.
It's a brave new world! Can't tell you how much I'm enjoying all this! :)
@dswigle wrote lately about: Leading Lines. Feel free to follow @dswigle if you like it :)
Check out new tipuvote! feature :)
Thank you!
That was easy!
How to enlarge photos when clicked?
You can make the phote a clickable link by putting it in the brackets. I should do a vid on it. Good idea! Upped.
Awesome! You can't use html code?
You should be able to always use HTML as far as I know
Yep. Basic html code seems to work.
Glad to see you helping out those that need it.
I love to teach! Thanks Upped.
