Canon 80D and Panasonic G7 Good for DTube?
Putting the Canon 80 D up against the Panasonic G7. Both are older and cheaper models, however can they be relevant for the hobbyist in 2019? Not everyone has the cash to shell out for a Red Dragon or a Canon C700. Maybe these models south of a grand are a decent place to start? I put up the video and the audio straight from the camera body, not adjustments in post.
The Panasonic G7 used is around $500 and the Canon 80D with the 18-135 lens both used is $1000.

The color is more true with the Canon unless you are not tan and then, the Panasonic is better. :)
I actually didn't see enough difference for me to lean one way or other, but, I can say that the Panasonic did a pretty great job for a little camera.

It seems like I need to adjust the white balance which I don't know enough about the Canon to know if I can in auto mode. I know the Canon will kick butt. I think it will be fun to see outdoors.
Sadly, the video didn't do well here but they tend to do well over time on YouTube. Thanks for your support.
