I Have a Plan For Us Procrastinators
Welcome to Sepia Saturday Sunday :D
Ok so I have a plan that is going to really help all of us busy people and/or procrastinators too! See here in the US we just had our daylight savings time change. We gained an hour by setting our clocks back. Ok now this is the magic of the plan we have a Day Savings day. Yesterday was supposed to be Sepia Saturday. Well I got busy and behind. So with Day Savings day, we just set the calendar back to it is now Saturday today!!!
I wanted to share some real un-enhanced sepia photos to get an idea of what some vintage photos looked like.
This is interesting as it is General MacArthur's plane.
I really think I am on to something here with my Day Savings day. In fact I believe it will be such a hit we may decide to do it every month. I know all of the computer guys will complain coz it might mess up a bit of code or other nonsense, yet I say look at all the benefits. Surely they vastly outweigh any of the cons!

Nice captures of actual vintage photos too - reminds me that I need to start doing some more scanning, as well as finish a sepia post I began back in September.... hey, maybe you could expand your plan to set back a month too? 🤣

...oh, so that's how you get extra time? Amazing, I'm still trying to find ways for time shifting...guess you have that natively supported in your place? :P
I don't know how daylight savings can mess with code, but sure, I don't want to know for now.And those real sepia photos are quite... well, what to say? They just have an aura that you cannot find on digital or even printed photos nowadays :) Even if you attempt to Photoshop one out it doesn't feel even close. Guess that's the power of age...
Oh boy, I could totally get behind saving a day each month. Why stop there, though, how about each week?? I'm hustling to make the most out of the extra hour to make the day stretch out a little longer at least. Though the change always seems to throw me off for a good week until I adjust back.
Interesting. The clocks were turned back one hour exactly a week ago here. Does "just" mean a week ago? Or was the shift last night in the US? If so, I wonder why this hasn't been coordinated globally.
Yeah I know the UK was a week before us as well. Now idea for the week difference.

I 100% procrastinated during that extra hour. No regrets.
I knew some people who just leave their time without changing it. They tell themselves this time of year they now have an extra hour to be late. Knowing this they are still late! So it does not work and they would been two hours late if the time was correct lol.
