But what has thou given unto Me?
I asked you to follow My ways
Asked you to love one another
But you have allowed greed in
You focus more on what you want
Forgetting the broken beside you
For you to have done this against them
You have done it against Me as well
I gave, I gave My life for you
And what has thou given unto Me?
I asked you to be of help to another
You coveted all the wealth for yourself
I asked you to heal the brokenhearted
You rather compounded their woes
I asked you to be tender with hearts
You rather act based on selfishness
You haven't done this against them
Rather you have done it against Me
I look down from Heaven
I see so much hurt and pain
I asked you to be my eyes
But you are consumed with your wants
I gave, I gave My life for you
And what has thou given unto Me? - Jesus
