2 Supply According To God’s Plan

Matthew 7:7-11
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

When you ask God for a fish, He will give you a hook because He knows with that hook, you can get many more fishes for other purposes. You might ask Him for a wife and He won’t only give you a wife but a home. Solomon asked for wisdom to lead God’s people (you see? God’s factor must always be involved in our requests), and God didn’t only give Him wisdom but wealth to show for it.

God knows everything we need and all He wants us to do is to ask Him so He can dazzle us by giving them to us according to His plans because the blessings of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow. When people give you out of what they have, they will spite you and mock you or worse still announce it to the whole world just to reduce your worth but that is not with God. Humans give out of what they have, God gives according to His riches in Glory through Jesus Christ and since everything comes from Him, He has way more than we can ever ask.
