No Blood, No Glory.

How Abel killed the firstling of his fattened flock
to make sacrifice unto the Lord.
How Abraham offered the provided ram
with obedience to God
and the priests and prophets offered animals
in atonement for the sins of the Israelites.
Burnt offerings; animals suffering for the sin of man.
How long shall the lambs be slain
and their bloodshed retain?
For if there's no blood,
there shall be no glory.

And there was no direct access to the Holy of holies,
we await the priests to take our sacrifices;
before the Lord that we may be accepted and preserved.
But when He came, we were reconciled with God
and redeemed with His blood.
Burnt offering and sacrifices, He put an end to,
the veil was torn and the story turned;
No more veil, no more lambs,
for with His blood, we now share in His glory.

No blood, no glory!
Like a lamb in the abattoir,
He was beaten for our trespasses,
yet love flowed in his blood,
the passion of my Lord
was to make the world share in His inheritance,
and turn from transgressions to repentance.
Now we can shout Holy!
His blood has brought glory,
and His glory brought freedom.
Grace and mercy flow from the temple
ever since the veil has been torn apart.

Thank you for your time.

Only a few people of our days really try to understand or try to picture how it was really like to shed blood before your sins were deemed to be forgiven. It wasn't that easy as we picture it. It really entailed a lot. How were the poor people getting their lambs and other sacrificial animals like the pigeons too? And also, even the priest, if he had any flaw or even the slightest sin on him would be struck down when he entered the holiest of holies in the tent so they had to tie their legs with ropes which had a bell on it, so that it would ring anytime he moved for them to know he was still alive. If he died from his sins, they would just pull the rope and bring him out because no one would dare face the Lord! I read this history somewhere and it's quite scary. So the death of Jesus, though saved the whole world, it saved the people there at the time too.. the sinners, the priests, everybody. Just imagine if we were still doing that now, how many Christians would be able to afford a ram or even a lamb every time. The death of Jesus shouldn't be in any way, taken for granted.
God bless you for another wonderful message @olawalium

Thank you so much for this detailed and insightful comment. Yes, Jesus made it all easy for us now. He saved us the whole stress of having to do all that. We should never take it for granted.

He shed a lot of blood for us and suffered a lot.

He sure did.

He endured unbearable pain just to show us the right way.

Absolutely. He did it all for us

He endured many persecutions but taught people to love. He was not angry with those who shed his blood. He is our pride He is our glory.

Our pride and glory, I love that.

boss thanks a lot for given us such a powerful massage , all believes has to take into account that , Jesus christ has suffered a lot on our behalf ,so we have to served him in a good faith

He endured even the shame of the cross for our sake. What a friend we have in Him.
