England thrashed Czech Republic by a 5-0 scoreline with the man of the moment; Raheem Sterling taking the center stage with an Hat trick.

Sterling has been in a formidable form and that is a second hat trick for him in less than 2 weeks. Before now, he has only scored 4 times for England. Imagine how this would be a massive boost for him.

He stepped up when Harry Kane wasn't at his best, (though Harry converted the penalty that Sterling won) and Dele Alli was out of tune. With this kind of form, his Manchester City coach; Pep Guardiola would be absolutely thrilled. Just a few days ago, Pogba was sticking up for him and he has been proved right that Sterling deserved some respect. He is a class on the field and off the field; the way he celebrated his goal by showing respect to the 13 year old that died of cancer.

England played 40 qualifying matches both Euros and World Cup and they have been unbeaten so far in it; (winning 31 and drawing just 9, since their last 1-0 defeat to Ukraine in October 2009 and this 5-0 score line was England's biggest win at Wembley since their last 5-0 triumph over San Marino in October 2014.

Raheem Sterling that has been in a stellar form became the first England player to score a hat-trick at Wembley since Jermain Defoe in September 2010 and interestingly, Sterling scored with all three of his shots in the match.

Callum Hudson-Odoi came on for Sterling after his hat trick to become the youngest player to make his debut for the England national team in a competitive match, at 18 years and 135 days.

To cap it up, Raheem Sterling's first goal ended a sequence of 25 passes, with 10 of England’s 11 players touching the ball in the build-up to the goal. (M.Goal)

Harry Kane, even though this wasn't his best performance for England against Czech, but he has scored 16 goals for England under manager Gareth Southgate and that is 11 more than any other player.
