He First Gave.

John 3:16 (NIV)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Giving is the nature of God because He first gave unto us. He gave us life, gave us purpose, gave us salvation through Jesus and gave us all that accompany salvation too. As humans, God wants us to be a giver.

Being a giver isn't limited to just material things. Be a giver in words and actions. Throw kindness around like confetti. Jesus made the disciples understand the act of giving and being there for each other to bring them into the understanding of the gospel of God when He said He was in Prison and no one visited Him. He said He was hungry and no one gave Him food. His disciples were confused and asked when they saw Him in all of these and did nothing. Jesus clearly told them since they couldn't do it for those they can see around them, then they have not done it for him.

Often we are so concerned about the fact that we don't have enough to meet our own needs so we always give the excuse of 'I don't have enough'. The truth is, whatever your hands find to do, do it well. Whatever little you can do with what you have, still do it. God clothes the flowers with the best and the birds eat. Even the life of a sparrow that worth just a pence, God values it how much more humans? How can God ask you to part away with the little you have and He won't replace it with so much more. I have been a recipient of this and I have always loved giving.

If what you have is not enough to meet your need, turn it into a seed.

God wants us to be a giver. He wants us to spread the fragrance of His goodness to others because we are the Ambassadors of Jesus here on earth. The closest anyone can get to have a glimpse of who God is can be with our kind gestures. They would be curious to know why you are so nice to them and that is when to tell them the good news about Jesus. We can use our act of giving to win souls into the fold of Jesus.

If we can take focus away from the pressure of trying to meet up with our needs and see giving as a way of reaching out to others to lead them to God, it would change our perspective of giving if we truly love God as we claimed we love Him. God just want us to replicate His good nature here on earth while telling others about the Gospel of Jesus.

Acts 10:38 (NIV)

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

God doesn't want anyone to perish but we can use our good works of giving to bring others to Jesus. Jesus did the same when He fed the multitude. He said He knew they didn't come to listen to the gospel but to be fed. So, if you ever feel others are taking advantage of you, that's a lesson there. Jesus knew and still, it won't stop Him from doing good because He had a bigger picture in mind.

You can give your time, your shoulder, your gifts and anything without your power to give. What do you have that you have not received? If you have received it, why boast as though you haven't? I pray God will give us more insight into how we can use giving to bring others to God.

Don't be the reason another unbeliever would turn away from God.

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.

If we give kindness as if they were candy, I am sure that life would be more bearable because it is not normal to receive kindness and return violence.
A virtual hug

We should always spread kindness like confetti.

When you give, you may have to make sacrifices.
If you feel the urge to donate to a desperate cause regardless of your own financial standing, you learn how to do without certain things so that you can make the donation.
Perhaps you'll watch your spending habits, or you'll be more frugal for the month. And you'll realize you don't need that much in your life to be happy.

This is amazing. Yes, giving is all about sacrifice.

No matter how much or how little you can give, you have the power to touch the life of another person and you can affect them in ways you may never completely be aware of.

Absolutely, true.

There's nothing wrong with feeling proud of your generosity and using that to spur you on to further acts of kindness in the future. It's a good way to start believing in yourself.

Very well, my friend.

Yes, I agree with you ‘we always give the excuse of 'I don't have enough' but There is no excuse for giving something to someone because we can give anything anyway, that donation is too small.

Every little bit helps.

Human need has no limit, the more they will get the more they will need.

No doubt and we should give anyway.
