Hang On (Hold On), Pain Ends.

I most times get revelations while in cabs on my way to work and this is just another. (Don’t worry, i won’t get comfortable with it, i am getting my car soon and bigger revelation would come from there as well).

On my way to work today, while seated at the front seat where people usually run from, because two people sit on a single seat there, i was very uncomfortable but i deliberately chose not to complain when everything in me wanted to. The only thought in my mind was “I will soon get to where i will drop” i had the end in sight. I even pictured myself dropping from the cab and feeling a sigh of relief, (i usually do that because i am a firm believer of the quote: "You cannot feature in a future that you cannot picture"), then the message dropped, i should hold on, the pain will end.

This can be applied to life. Everything we go through will soon come to an end if we have the end in mind, with a clear picture of the life we desire and sense the relief even before we get there.

Everything is about approach, everything is about mindset. What you say is what you see. What you see is what you feel.

Nothing lasts forever no matter how it feels today. Even though i was feeling uncomfortable, pressured into complaining with the bumpy road and ride, i knew i will soon get there. Let us develop this approach to life. We will soon get there. The road can’t be smooth, infact if it is smooth, then of what use would our testimony be? You are stronger than you think. You can hold on even more than you think. You have strength to hold on right inside you, don’t listen to the voice that ask you to complain, be ungrateful and refuse to see the lessons embedded in what you are going through.

Choose to view life differently. Choose to have the end in sight. Stop struggling, live and learn. Just when the caterpillar thought life was over, it is transformed into something more beautiful. When you notice the frustration gets more intense that is when you should hold on a little longer because it shows the breakthrough is around the corner and you are being tested to prove your mettle. Don’t complain, don’t give up too soon. Look inward and derive strength a little while longer.

Hold On, Hang in there, pain surely ends. God sees and hears. Trust Him, He has never failed. It is painful to have to wait but “if the most precious is tried in the fire, are we to escape the crucible? If others could survive, so can you. If others could pull through, why not you? If it were easy, there would be no YOU. "Ability not to give up is the true test of a man." - Olawalium. Don't live your life without impacts. Don't leave your songs unsung, don't leave your story unwritten. You have no idea how many lives and dreams you will "kill" all because you gave up!. It can never be over until you win. Stay on, hang on, hold on, pain ends.
