Decide It.

​A man gave permission to his friend to take and eat from his cereal box anytime he chose. Anytime the friend is hungry and in need of it, he takes from it, but it got to a time where anytime he’s not even hungry, he takes from it, then wastes it a little. He litters with it, waste it, and make a mess of it. Of course the owner has given him permission to take from it anytime, so he need not ask him again anytime he wants it. It’s the same with God’s grace. He has freely given us, it’s left to us what we do with it, whether we take it for granted or make a mess of it.

Anytime we fall or mess up, that Grace has been given already, all we need to do is recognise it and tap into it, not to take it for granted but use it anytime there is a NEED. God loves you, you can’t begin to imagine how deep His love runs. We don’t need to go to Him only when we need or want something, we need to create a relationship with Him, as a father that He is. How would you feel when people only remember you when they need something?. So, how do you think God would feel?

Even though He is never like us. Sometimes we equate God to how humans would naturally act. We need to think outside the box and not bring Him down to the level of how humans act!.

He doesn’t love us less regardless, because He knows of our imperfections. He called the Israelites stiff necked nation, but that doesn’t stop Him from saving them anytime they call. He’s always available to us, we decide what we do with His LOVE and GRACE, and our choices will definitely shape how we turn out.

Take the wise road and call unto Him for help. His arms are wide open. He made the eyes, shall He not see? He made the ears, shall He not ear? He is just a call away! You are not too far or deep from the reach of His grace. Don’t give up on yourself. It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, fail, have to go back or how many times you told Him you are sorry, He doesn’t judge you, the devil does, through your guilt and running away from Grace. Remind the devil you have no past because He said “I will remember your sins no more for the sake of my name” and you can trust Him to take His name seriously and not to soil it. He said He has exalted His name above all things. You have a future in Him, sin has no power over you. You can get down but you can always rise again. Don’t get tired of telling Him and tap into His grace.

You said you don’t deserve it? If you deserve it, how else are we going to call it grace? It’s an unmerited favour, no one deserves it, but you decide what you make of it. Let His love fill your heart, and your spirit will be sensitive to sin even before they come near you. His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. He knows we are weak, don’t get tired of always going back to Him for renewal. Confess His Grace and Love for you anytime the feeling of guilt, condemnation, the flash of past sins and mistakes arises.
