Woman Crush Wednesday: Fun Time With @gee1.

#Womancrushwednesday has been fun and should be for a long time to come. Massive thanks to @gee1 for giving us a fun spot. That lady is all shades of cuteness. She is also the anchor for #ManCrushMonday and #Throwbackthursday. Y'all should watch out for those days.

My #WomanCrushWednesday goes to my late mama. I miss this woman so much. She is a definition of a mother and i love her mental strength. She went through a lot of phases she wasn't familiar with. She took her commitment to God up a notch by joining the choir at a very late age. She wanted to do one last act of service for God i guess. Maybe she knew, maybe God pushed her to ahead of her homecoming, but whatever it is, i couldn't help but be grateful we didn't dissuade her from following her spirit in joining, even if i laughed at her few times when i saw her in the choir robe.

I have never seen a woman as hard working as my mother was. She doesn't like staying idle and she knew how to respond to her body when rest came calling. I hardly ever see her fall sick. She was super strong. No task fazed her as she knew how to surmount them.

She loved watching movies. All the VHS cassettes in our home, over 500 of them, she bought most of them and she could tell you how each movie played out by narrating all of them, without mixing them up. If you wanted to see her get all serious and at the same time in her uncontrollable mood back then, watch her while she watch her home videos. The only woman i have seen so far, who knows how to balance work and fun without any hindering the other. I took that from her.

You are no longer here mama but your influence is still strong as ever. I am glad i came to the world through you and picked all your good parts. What a privilege it was mama. I love you.
