There is a lot of crypto fake gurus on the internet and these fake gurus are busy pumping crypto project, e-commerce, and several online courses. Although there are many fake gurus on the internet, we can not deny the real deal of billionaires that are being loved by people online. There are also real financial advisers but they have not attained that world-famous level yet. The question is, how can we separate the real crypto gurus and the fake ones? What we need to do is to develop a good strategy to access the value of a guru back to their track record to see those that have been doing well in the past and those that just riding trends and cashing in.

So, one of the things to look out for is the quality of the advice given out by the person in question. There is no doubt that one of the problems the online crypto fake gurus is that tend to lead you astray and they tell you to invest in a project when the project is about to crash. They will make a lot of money doing this and move on to the next trendy project. One of the ways to know if a project is about to crash is when you see fake gurus start pumping a certain project. Just like what happened in 1929 when a popular investor called Kennedy sold his whole stock portfolio because he notice everybody is talking about the stock market, even the taxi driver and shoe shiner. He made a lot of money shorting the market but an average a suffer for it. We can deny that during the time the market is doing well, everyone looks like a genius but after the market crashes, that is when you will the real gurus and the fake ones.

It is very easy to say when you see a guru type hyping a project, you should just check their track record to see if they are the real gurus or the fake gurus but sometimes it is not always like that. Sometimes, people make mistakes but they have real intentions, maybe because they think they are too smart. Just like some people might label Bill Gates a fake guru in 1995 when he published a memo about the Internet tile wave that was about to happen. Although, Bill Gates knew what he was saying even though some people think was a joke. Bill Gates was not right in the short term because the market crashed in 2001 but he was right in the long term. Those that might have labeled Bill Gates a fake guru in 2001 during the .com crash would be very run in the long run because we can see the growth of the Internet.

Although, looking at recent track records of these gurus to determine whether they are real gurus or fake gurus is good but it is not always a good idea. We can also look a the money aspect to determine the fake gurus because it is always suspicious to see some so-called gurus asking people to pay for information when all the information we needed is on the internet for free. No doubt that those that are labeled fake gurus online have some paid courses that are always selling online such as crypto trading, drop shipping, and so on. Is very funny that some people when as far as selling courses about selling courses. It is very funny to see what is happening today but I think when some people don't know what to teach again, they just teach them about teacher.

Paid courses are always something most people use to label some people as fake gurus. Of course, people would call less it if these gurus are just making some noise on the internet but they always have problems with them when they began convincing people to pay for some expensive course. Sometimes, the course and seminars that people pay expensive amounts for are not always up to expectations and sometimes they are the information you can get online for free.

Sometimes, we can always label people fake gurus just because they charge people for courses. If we consider some successful people like the author of Shoe Dog who sell a book. No doubt that the author of Shoe Dog is a real deal when it comes to business but the big question is that why doesn't he give is the book to people for free? This man is very rich and he obviously doesn't need the money from the book sales. You may ask, why didn't he let the book be free for everyone? The answer is very simple, publishing a physical book is very expensive because he will have to pay the editors, the translators, the designers, and the distributor.

COURSE SALES

Course sales are one of the major ways fake gurus start making a huge amount of money. The value used will get from the book is worth more than the money paid for the book. People can manage to pay for a $10 book but the problem is paying for a $1,000 course that didn't deliver as expected. If you buy a $10 book and it failed to deliver as expected, you won't feel that back because if just $10. The problem comes when you buy a 1,000 course and if failed to deliver as expected, you would feel back. We can not call everybody that we sell courses online a fake guru because there are some pay courses actually the information you are seeking for. One major red flag you should look out for is paid advertisement.

PAID ADVERTISEMENT

It just doesn't make sense when someone is paying a lot of money just giving you advice and also telling you to teach can teach you to have to be successful for free. It is suspicious to me when I see that kind of advert claim teach you a way to be successful for free when they are paying a lot of money to run those ads. They always have a way to make money, they will start with free mini sections and then progress higher and higher paid sections. Their strategy is to get your attention by saying the course is free but later they will graduate higher and higher paid courses.

Even though what some people are saying in their paid advertisement might be ridiculous, some say reasonable stuff. We can learn a lot from people who had spent most of their time building successful businesses by just spending a few hours of our time reading their experiences in their books. Someone like Ray Dalio who is a billionaire also uses pay advertisement. He sells his books online through paid advertisements. Ray Dalio running a paid advertisement doesn't make him a fake guru because you think your idea is worth selling, you should sell it, and most especially if you know what you are doing. The bottom line is that you can identify fake crypto gurus with their false advertising and predatory marketing.
