Empowerment is the measure to eradicate poverty.

It is said make hay while the sun shine, this Is not a word for the wise alone but for all individual who want to be successful in life.

This remind me of the saying: "if you want to be successful you must work towards it in life". ( Yoruba translation: eniba ma gba yio Koko Tiro).

Nobody likes poverty, but poverty is not just I can't afford this or that. Poverty is the lack or scarcity of amount of material possessions or money. Poverty is a nuanced concept which doesn't based only on feeding, and clothing. It include social, economic and political element.

Forecast of World Bank show that seven hundred two point 1 million (702.1,000,000) are people living with extreme poverty. From the report according to World Bank from 1990 till 2015, the world's population percentage living with extreme poverty reduce from 37.1% to 9.6%.

There are some many programme launched to alleviate poverty. The concept those programme lack is the merit of empowerment. Feeding and clothing can't eradicate poverty without empowering who you are feeding. Empowerment is the total measure to eradicate poverty.
