A lady was very annoyed with another Christian lady, and as they exchanged words, she told her neighbour, that she'll drop the Bible smack her your face if she utter more words!” But she was not holding any Bible then, what she meant was that she would shun whatever it is that the Bible gives, and hit her. What does that mean? It's clearly obvious that the Word was not in her heart yet; it was still in the Bible, because if she have the Word in her, she can’t drop it; it is her life.

All Christian wants, and suppose live the life that is ruled by the Spirit and controlled by the Spirit; the life that is filled with God. That is what Christianity really means: Christ is alive and He is at work in you, till extend that you are always under the influence and regulation of the Spirit; not things like anger, wrath and malice. Don’t be controlled how you feel or your emotions; be ruled by the Spirit. It doesn't matter how annoyed you are; control yourself.

In another words, “control your temper.” You can be entice to be angry, entice to act in a way that is not appropriate for a Christian, but if you let the spirit lead you, you will not fulfil the want of the flesh. Did you know how to walk in the spirit? It is by doing things according to the Word of God; by walking in the light of the Word. Now you are in Christ, so walk in love. Be ruled by the Spirit, and be controlled everytime by the Spirit. When you are filled with the Spirit, you have a controlled life of the Spirit.
