Ljubljana is the place I spend most of my time in the last two years. I really love Slovenia, I really do. I mean there are problems in every country but the important thing is how significant they are, how much they effect your life. Ljubljana is a place where people can enjoy their life freely. I totally agree with this. When you walk like 20 - 30 min at most you will either find a big park are or a forest. Ljubljana is that kind of place where you can enjoy the green and breath quality air.

Son iki yılın çoğunu Slovenya'da geçirdim diyebilirim. Ve hala da hayatıma burada devam ediyorum. Slovenya'yı gerçekten çok seviyorum. Kimisi emekli yeri de ama benim için muhteşem bir yer. The first thing that will attract you is the Preseren square with three bridges and that big pink church. The first time I came, I was using that church as meeting point with my friends. Don't get it wrong! We do not meet in the church, we meet in front of the church so it will be easier for us to find each other :D Here you can enjoy the view of river or go sit in a cafe. There are a lot of things to do in Ljubljana. You must definitely visit the castle, see inside as there are also really old ruins inside of the castle.

Ljubljana'ya geldiğinizde ilk dikkatinizi çekecek şey Preseren meydanıdır. Meydanda büyük pembe bir kilise ve 3 tane köprü vardır. There are different museums that you can go. I have been to some of them but in Nature Museum there is something really special. It is possibly oldest musical instrument ever found in the world. You can check it here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divje_Babe_Flute There is also a huge Mammoth skeleton. And the museums are quite close to each other. So it would be good to leave at least one day to just for museums and then in the evening you can enjoy the rest of the day.

Without talking about Metelkova, It is impossible to talk about Ljubljana as it is one of the most important things in Ljubljana. Metelkova is actually an autonomus social center in Ljubljana. But actually its location was used as military barracks in Yugoslavia.There are a lot of different activites you can see. Concerts, exhibitions, discussions a lot of things. On the walls of buildings you can see great graffitis.

Metelkova'yı anlatmadan Ljubljana hakkında konuşmak olmaz. Metelkova kendi halinde takılan içinde alternatif kültürleri barındıran otonom olarak bilinen bir yer.Aslında eskiden askeri binaların bulunduğu bir yermiş ama sonradan terk edilmiş ve sonrasında bazı kişilerin girişimiyle hayata döndürülmüş. Gittiğinizde bir çok aktiviteye tanık olabilirsiniz. Konsere gidebilirsiniz, sergiye katılabilirsiniz, tasarım atölyerine gidebilirsiniz. Hayatın 7/24 devam ettiği farklı bir yer. Ve gittiğiniz zaman duvardaki o güzel graffitileri de görebilirsiniz.

The architecture you will see in Ljubljana today mostly belongs to Joze Plecnik. He was a great person in terms of architecture. Today his house is a museum. The nice buildings, bridges and churches, you name it he built it. He is a great architect mostly known for triple bridge and central market in Ljubljana.

Ljubljana'da gördüğünüz bir çok binanın mimarı Joze Plecnik diye bilinen bir mimardır. Kendisi Ljubljana için çok önemlidir çünkü neredeyse Ljubljana'nın tüm önemli binaları kendisinin elinden çıkma. En çok bilinen eserleri ise üç köprü ve yerel pazar binası( tabi böyle diyince olmuyor :D )
