Sony To Launch its Crypto Exchange in Japan

Sony is a well-known technology brand and it is known because of its amazing products that they manufacture and deliver across the world. They are also in the smartphone segment but I think they have a limited market for their phones however they are doing great in products like television, cameras, and gaming devices called Playstation. This company is not new because they have global projects and they have also been in the market for a long this is why the brand is so popular among people globally and it is a reliable and trustworthy brand.

Now Sony is moving to the next level as they have announced that they are becoming a crypto exchange. They acquired one of the exchanges in Japan last year and now they are going to start their operation through this which is most likely going to happen within this year. Being a technology giant this company is surely making the right move because it is the time when the crypto industry is booming and whoever will be part of the journey will benefit a lot. Since this is a technology giant they should be able to build their innovative products in the crypto space also and hopefully this will add more value to their overall portfolio. I mean to say not the portfolio for crypto only instead the entire business portfolio that they have been running on.

With a $100 billion market valuation, Sony has long spoken about diversifying its holdings. To build its portfolio, the company entered the cryptocurrency market. The commercial subsidiary of the company, Sony Network Communications, collaborated with the Japanese blockchain startup Startale Labs to create Sony’s public blockchain network last year.

I consider this news as great news for the entire crypto community because the entry of such a big brand in the crypto market is a great value addition. If more brands follow the same trend then imagine how much action we can see and possibly the next bull run is going to be bigger than what we have ever seen in the past so it's the time when we need to keep a close eye on the market and get ready for the upcoming bull run which might start this year or the next one. It is time for us to prepare for the market cycle and this time when it is low can be a good opportunity to accumulate some at a discounted price.
