Grayscale won SEC lawsuit for Bitcoin ETF

Grayscale is a well-known name in asset management and they applied for Bitcoin ETF in June 2022. After that application, the Security and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit against the E T F. Those who do not know what this comment body is are known as Security and Exchange Commission. this is the government body that controls all investment-related licences and they are the ones working in this area to drive regulation for the investor's safety. It is the same as SEBI which is a government body in India and it takes care of the stock market to avoid manipulation and ensure that the involved companies are following the government norms.

This means the role of the SEC is good from the investor's point of view. Such organisations are needed for the investor's fund safety but the problem is when these government bodies are not working the way they are expected to do. S E C in the U.S. has been creating a lot of issues for crypto companies because of which many exchanges have decided to discontinue some products and even they are looking for options outside the US.

Grayscale is one of the companies that has been managing assets and they hold a bigger quantity of Bitcoin. they are planning to bring GBTC which is going to be etf and this way more demand will be created for Bitcoin in the market but this was halted by SEC and now since Grey Scale has won the case against the lawsuit we can expect that Bitcoin etf will be coming soon. I believe that it is not going to happen so soon but it will take a few months and probably we are going to have it early next year when Blackrock will also be ready for the etf if things go as planned.
