Azolve
AZOLVE
Es la acumulación de sedimentos arrastrados o suspendidos en el agua y depositados en el fondo de un canal bien sea para la conducción de aguas para riego o de drenajes
Esta situación se incrementa en aquellos canales en tierra por la incidencia no solamente del material en suspensión a base de arcilla o arena, sino por la presencia de vegetación tanto en el fondo como en los taludes.
La presencia de especies vegetales disminuyen la sección o capacidad de conducción, también la velocidad del agua en el canal, lo que da origen al AZOLVE y esta situación trae como probable consecuencia el desbordamiento de los drenajes y por ende inundaciones indeseables y a veces con pérdidas materiales y hasta humanas en sus áreas adyacentes.
Claro está que hay situaciones en las que el abuso del hombre llega hasta el extremo de invadir las proximidades de estos canales y esa imprudencia genera inconvenientes en el desplazamiento del agua originando mayor volumen de azolve.
La educación ambiental juega un papel muy importante en el comportamiento y la relación hombre-naturaleza-ambiente.
