DRUG ABUSE

I will like to first discuss with you what is drug abuse before I shared you a story.

Drug Abuse : clinically known as substance use disorder or habitual taking of drugs or addictive substances such as alcohol, cocaine, marijuana, hallucinogens and opioids.

Story I'm about to tell you is the story of a man who ruined his life dew to high intake of hard drugs.

Wale is an undergraduate student, studying political science at Lagos state university (LASU) Nigeria. He is one of the most brilliant if not the most brilliant student in his department.

Wale who came from a wealthy family and being the only child of his parents, he gets all what he wants in his doorstep.
He normally moves with high caliber of students like himself. He was later Influenced into taking hard drugs like cocaine, Tramadol, marijuana and so on.

People who are watching him as a good product of the university including his head of department (HOD) try to stop him from taking the drugs but he did not listen, all of his parents efforts to stop him taking the hard substances that can destroy his life was in vain. Gradually,he became drug addict

Wale whom is known to be one of the most brilliant student started depreciating academically. Character like unnecessary laughing or talking to nobody started showing up,yet he never quit smoking and taking hard drugs.

Until one day, Wale started displaying some lunatic stuff, people think it was a joke or may be it will release him after some time, but that's how Wale who has all what he needs to be a great person in life ruined his life dew to uncontrol and excessive taking of drugs and alcohol.

Some people think it was a spiritual attack but we that are very close to him know it is as a result of misused of drugs. He is been expelled in the university by the management.

                LESSON LEARNED 

Drug use can hurt the people who take drugs and the people around them, including families, kids and babies who are yet to be born.
The high intake of hard drugs can hurt the body and the brain, sometimes forever.

Let learn how to control ourselves. Abnormal use of drug can lead to addiction, a long lasting brain disease in which people can't stop taking drugs on their own, even when they understand the repercussions.
