Donald Trump Tape Tease: Sean Spicer Says Big Reveal “Possible” At Week’s End
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer mentioned Monday that it's “possible” we could have a solution by the tip of this week as as to if tapes actually do exist of President Trump’s conversations with former FBI Director James Comey or if the President of the USA, when he tweeted suggesting there might be tapes, was simply making shit up.
Possibly not coincidentally, Trump has a deadline of the tip of this week to show over to the Home Intel Committee all memos about, and any tapes of, conversations with Comey.
Ten days in the past, Trump once more dodged a query as as to if he did, as he hinted, tape conversations with the FBI director, as he had steered in a tweet shortly after sacking Comey.
“Nicely, I'll let you know about that, someday within the very close to future,” Trump sidestepped when a reporter straight requested him, throughout a Rose Backyard information convention, whether or not the tapes really exist.
Addressing the questions at a joint presser with Romania President Klaus Iohannis, reporters famous Trump was “hinting” the tapes exist. “I’m not hinting something. I’ll let you know over a really quick time frame,” Trump shot again. “Oh you’re going to be very disenchanted while you hear the reply,” he added as reporters saved lobbing extra tape questions. Again then, Spicer told reporters, in response to questions as to after they would have a solution on Trump tapes: “When he’s prepared. Simply watch the helicopter.”
In Could, Trump tweeted, the day after sacking Comey, “James Comey higher hope there are not any ‘tapes’ of our conversations earlier than he begins leaking to the press!”
Trump’s tweet appeared to recommend that POTUS had recorded these conversations, although he refused to elaborate in a Fox Information Channel interview days later. The tweet triggered TV information pundit to speak – once more – of Richard Nixon and Watergate. These pundits thought Trump must know that if he did file that dinner or these two cellphone calls he doesn't personal them; they're federal information, because of Nixon.
Talking of tapes, no audio or video exists of at present’s tape teaser by Spicer. That’s as a result of Monday’s White Home Press briefing banned video or audio recording of the press gathering. Group Trump is making an attempt to maintain press focus off the investigation of Russian meddling with the election and whether or not there was any collusion in that effort by members of his marketing campaign.
