Contemporary Child Ice -- founding member of 2 Dwell Crew, and a pioneer for Asian rappers, died in Miami ... TMZ has realized.

Contemporary Child fashioned the legendary hip-hop crew with DJ Mr. Mixx and Superb Vee in 1984, and attached with Luther Campbell later once they signed along with his file label. In accordance with the group's supervisor he died at 7:50 AM Thursday in a Miami hospital ... as a result of a medical situation.

Contemporary Child's actual identify was Chris Wong Received ... and he and the group turned poster kids for First Modification Rights after their "As Nasty As They Wanna Be" album was the primary to be labeled legally obscene by the federal government.

He and Campbell had been arrested in 1990 after a dwell efficiency police deemed obscene and lewd.
