We walk by Faith, Not by Sight
This command declared by the Apostle Paul is becoming increasingly hard to follow in this present age. We all know that Sight is one of the Primary Human senses, One of the Five power houses.
In this present age where our daily lives are mostly ruled by screens ranging from that of television to our smarrt Phone. It is has become more hard for us to trust in things gwe cannot see
The rate of Visual Stimulation we are daily exposed to is mind blowing. And the fact that these Apps provide us entertainment and connection for free excites us. The truth however is that when a product is free, you are the product
There are also various movies and videos online that go a long way in providing us with entertainment. Our fingertips are always engaged, swiping tapping and swiping.
Joy From Within
There is however a kind of joy that cannot be seen. It does not come from things that we were visually stimulated with. It comes from something within that gives us rays of hope and the thought of a better tomorrow
In our world of Increrasingly views aided by different kind of screens, there are still mind blowing realities that don't need the platform a screen provides to create a landmark on or souls
We have all had that feeling when an experience or encounter with something or a peson gives us great hope that goes beyond what our array of screens can provide.This stems from having a new kind of Vision when it comes to soemthing or even a place or person
When It comes to achieveing destiny, the power of Faith and Hope cannot be understimated. And when it comes to these two things, we don't delight by sight we delight in Christ.
Our heart is brought In contact with a kind of Hapiness and Joy that the no screen can ever bring us.The things we come in Contact via screens sometimes even end up taking away our joy. We are therefore called not to delight by sight. We are meant to delight In Christ.
When you realsie this, your feelings will no longer be moved by what you see online, you will have that brand of feeligns that can only come from above, and even though those popular ray of Apps try to gain your attention and direct your feelings they will keeep losing

It is a sad truth that things that are advertised to use in a way to make use believe they will bring us joy are the same things taking it away.
I've been lost like many in finding true joy in a lot of things these days. Seen far to many people thinking "if I just spend a little more I'll find joy."
I think I just need go on a long backpacking trip somewhere. Get away from all the hustle and noise.
