Last night we had a prayer meeting, after the meeting I still talking to myself, do I know the power of prayer? Do I understand what prayer can do in my life? Have I come to full understanding of the power that dwell in the secret Praying place?. This same questions I asked myself, some of you are also asking it but have you taken the time to search your Bible? After asking myself, I decided to search my Bible and I discovered some mighty things that Prayer can do.
Read with me the book of Isaiah 38
*38:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
38:3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
38:4 Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
38:5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
38:6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city. *

In this passage I have come to understand that not only if you are sick, you receive healing after Prayer but if you pray and desire earnestly within your heart the Lord will add more years to your years and also protect and fight for you because he says in John
14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

If you don't ask through Prayer how will He bring to pass your desire in your life and also in Numbers
14:28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:
In 1 Peter
5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
The Lord is telling us here to be sober and vigilant but if you are not grinded in Prayer how can you be vigilant or do you think if the devil come to attach you that you can see him with your physical eyes, NO NO NO, you will only see the physical manifestation but if you are vigilant by Prayer, before he does anything you are already aware to counter it. The devil is only like the roaring lion he is not the lion because we are children of the Lion, and if we are HIS children then are we not Lions also.
Lastly, don't forget Prayer is the key.
Thanks for reading and God bless you
