Update Google Chrome browser to latest version

Chrome's most annoying feature (on tablet) is those tabs disappearing off the top of the page so you have to keep flicking to get them back, and tabs being different sizes so you can'tntap in one place to close them

Chrome is a great web browser

Chrome is available for pretty much all computer platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhones/iPads. I use Chrome for the majority of my web browsing and recommend it as the best browser available.

Privacy

Another hugely popular feature, Incognito mode allows you to browse privately by disabling history recording, reducing traceable breadcrumbs and removing tracking cookies on shutdown. Chrome’s settings also allow you to customize regular browsing privacy preferences.

The technology company has encouraged software developers to check-out its new Exclusion API should they want to disable anchors on pages where they may be unwanted.

"Due to the expressiveness of the web, there might be some content for which scroll anchoring is either unwanted or misbehaving," it adds.

Apple will also be hoping to take a chunk of the Google Chrome market share, after they revealed a new Safari browser they claim is 80 per cent faster.

"And Safari's domination continues with the new modern version of Javascript where it delivers 80 per cent faster performance than Chrome."

The update will include the long rumoured ad-blocking built-in feature, however it is not penciled in for release until next year.
