It was clear that Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic Con would give fans some informations about upcoming films, series and projects, but so far it has been, that most of the projects and their actions were a big secret. That's why on the one hand it was a big surprise for all fans that Kevin Feige announced the whole timetable of phase 4 and on the other hand a big reason to celebrate the announcements. That gives reason for joy. Let's go on with what will await us after Shang-Chi.

WandaVision - In Spring 2021

In spring 2021 there will be the next Marvel Cinematic Universe series at Disney+. WanderVision with a new logo as what has been shown to us so far, which reminds a bit of a Cadillac. Yes Vision of course returns as the title suggests. Paul Bettany will continue to play Vision and of course Elizabeth Olsen as Wander respectively as Scarlet Witch and according to Kevin Feige the series will officially play after Avengers Endgame.

I'm very excited about what they will tell us about Vision. In any case WanderVision will start at Disney+ in spring 2021 and the interesting thing is what we have been told. Monika, the little girl from Captain Marvel will return as an adult in the series and will be played by Teyonah Parris. Who knows the comics knows that Monica Rambeau is a superhero. So be curious what will happen with WanderVision, because the series will be very important for a next movie in Phase 4.

Doctor Strange 2: In The Multiverse of Madness - May 7, 2021

The film that will take up the events in WandaVision is Doctor Strange 2 and will be shown in cinemas on May 7, 2021. That means, you can really assume that WandaVision will come just before to heat the whole thing up, because the second part of Doctor Strange gets with In the Multiverse of Madness an addition in the title.

This could point to something, that was sold to us as a fake in Spider-Man Far from Home. Do you remember where Quentin Beck aka Mysterio said, that he would come from another Universe but it turned out it was a lie? Maybe the wrong track was deliberately laid to surprise us again? Maybe the multiverse will be introduced after all? Anyway, the title with the addition suggests something like that to us.

Scott Derrickson returns as director, who already did the first part of Doctor Strange and promised that the film would become much darker and could get some horror elements and now there's the connection to the events in the series WandaVision. Because Scarlet Witch will play a leading role in the movie, which means that Doctor Strange will get some reinforcement in his second adventure on may 7, 2021.

Loki - In Spring 2021

It has been known for some time that Loki will get a series and it was expected as the first MCU series on Disney+. But apparently this has been changed a bit. The series is supposed to show us the Loki we saw in Avengers Endgame. The one who got out of the dust with the Tesseract. This Loki is now actually the old one and still quite the nasty Loki, he is not the Loki from Avengers Infinity War.

So you could say Loki returns with his own series, who might even become important again and as the first pictures had already shown, it will really be the case that Loki flees into the past. More is not known about the series, though. The series will start on Dinsey+ in spring 2021.

What If...? - In Summer 2021

In summer 2021 the first official Marvel Cinematic Universe animations series will start. It will deal with What If...?-stories from other time levels and timelines. These were finally introduced by Avengers Endgame. But it should tell beside the whole questions of the time travel history, which provided for much confusion, also alternative courses of the heroes.


In this animation series we will experience Jeffrey Wright as the voice of the Watcher, who will present us other time levels and lines, where certain events we got to know in the MCU took a different course. Recently it was rumored that Peggy Carter became Captain America.

Maybe we will see that and many other things in this series. But it wasn't confirmed. What has been confirmed is that quite a lot of faces will return from the MCU, at least with their voices, as animated versions and four of them will take other roles than we know them. Maybe we will see Thanos as the leader of the Avengers fighting Tony Stark as Iron Man because he is a threat to everyone with his narcissistic ego? Wouldn't that be cool? In any case, this concept of What If...? sounds really interesting. I myself am definitely very curious what they will present us with it.
