As a believer when do you visit your calendar?Then check what Mark Batterson once wrote, "If you don't control your calender ,your calendar will control you." Alan Lakein also said "Time is life ,it is irreversible and irreplaceable".
To waste your time is to waste your life ,but to master your time is to master your life and make the most of it.

Scott Peek is credited with saying :"Until you valve yourself ,you will not valve your time .Until you valve your time ,you will not do anything with it.I have heard a lot of preacher say ,"show me your checkbook and your calendar, and l 'll tell you what you value.I truly agree with these statements.Leaders who do not have control of their calendars will constantly be spinning out in the dirt without making much progress.

Life will seems frantic and hurried ,yet it will difficult to pinpoint what they are actually getting done.
Everything that is important must go on the calender.However your calendar too should not enslave you.Let have a view of how to control your calendar by allow the Holy spirit as a leader guider

• LEAVE ROOM FOR PEOPLE AND LEAVE ROOM FOR GOD

It is easy to fill up your calender and not leave room for what God might bring along your path. Remember that there are no coincidence with God.Many times we get very tired but still keep filling some unbook appointment.Even though your calender is booked solid,We still need to have Holy spirit flexibility.Sometimes try to block more time as needed for appointment, leaving a buffer between appointment and keeping the door open for other as often as possible.

Jesus was going to see Jarius daughter but He was also touched by the woman with the issue of blood.Be flexible sometimes.This is important for Christian business leaders and everyone.Part of your calling as a follower of Jesus is to love and care for people and that begins with the people already in your life.Make room to ask people about their lives,their dreams and hurts.

• PUT IMPORTANT PRIORITY ITEMS ON YOUR CALENDER FIRST

Just do an experiment with you trying to fill a jar with a combination of big rocks and little stones.If you fill the jar with the little stones first,you will not be able to fill in very many big rocks in the bucket .However ,If you fill it with all the big rocks first,then you can add many of the little stone in and around the big rocks.This applies to your daily life :you must put priority things -"important priority items"(e.g.time with your spouse and kids ,vacation ,strategic planning,and vision time)on the calender first.Otherwise you will never find time for those priorities.....
