MY LAST DAY

If it were my last day on earth,
I would let out my humble heart.
I would toss around the truth,
in this world of bold brute.

I would be as plain as a mirror;
nothing behind a closed door.
I would bare my mature mind.
Nothing would be left behind.

Would tell the world I'm a Nigerian.
And that we are not barbarians.
That we are really peaceful people;
as soft-hearted as a nipple.

I would brag of my Nationality;
I'm never a subject of pity.
I would boast of our women;
admired by all earthly men.

If it were actually my last day;
in me confidence wouldn't decay.
I would confirm my citizenship.
I would never keep a mute lip.
